1. The compressor constricts the refrigerant vapor, raises its high pressure and temperature, and pushes it into the condenser coils on the outside of the refrigerator works.

2. It becomes liquid when the hot condenser gas meets the home kitchen’s cooler air temperature.

3. The refrigerant gas is now in liquid form at high temperatures. It cools as it flows through an expansion valve into the freezer’s evaporator coils.

4. When the refrigerant flows through the evaporator coils, it absorbs heat and cools down the fridge.

5. Last, the refrigerant liquid evaporates to a gas due to raised temperature and then flows back to the compressor, where the cycle starts repeatedly.
